He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
Dr. Pfohl performs a full scope of oral surgery with particular interests in dentoalveolar surgery, wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, office-based anesthesia, oral pathology, and maxillofacial trauma. In addition to private practice, he serves on staff at Mercy Hospital of Iowa City and is involved in resident teaching through the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
