I had an very good experience at Iowa City Ambulatory Surgical Center. Surgery prep was easy and the staff was very helpful. The surgeon and anesthesiologist visited me to describe the procedure. There were no delays, and I was taken to the OR promptly. I was a little anxious because I met a Wolverine nurse there. Admittedly, she seemed nice. Next thing I remember was waking up in recovery where some of the kindest nurses I’ve ever met were attending to me. I recovered quickly with no complications. It’s been over 5 weeks since my successful surgery. I am fully recovered. I had minimal pain and no swelling after surgery. The best thing is that it’s all behind me. My UIHC initial surgery consultation is still more than a month away. That’s a lot of extra suffering I’d have to endure. I am very happy I chose a surgeon who operates at this facility. I wholeheartedly recommend it to others

Wonderful caring and attentive staff. I had a T&A 9 weeks post partum and everyone was so attentive with meds and breastfeeding. Even allowing me to pump right before going back. They have comfy gowns and an awesome warming system with blankets and warm air. Comfy recovery chairs and they understand all you wanna do is go home after.
