Dr. Timothy S. Albright is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with Oral Surgery Associates of Iowa City. Originally from Urbandale, Iowa, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. He then completed his dental education at the University of Iowa in 2016 before pursuing advanced surgical training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he completed his residency in 2020.

During his training in Chicago, Dr. Albright gained extensive experience in dentoalveolar surgery performed in outpatient settings using local anesthesia and IV sedation. His training also included corrective jaw surgery, management of facial trauma, and treatment of benign and malignant pathology. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and values the complexity of treatment planning and individualized surgical care.

Dr. Albright performs a variety of oral surgery procedures and has particular clinical interests in dental extractions, bone and soft tissue grafting, dental implants, in-office IV anesthesia, and corrective jaw surgery. He is also on staff at Mercy Hospital of Iowa City.
