Dr. Chad Pfohl is proud to hail from Dubuque, IA. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Biology in 1997. He graduated from the University Of Iowa College Of Dentistry in 2003. In 2007, Dr Pfohl completed his surgical residency at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. His training included full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with a special emphasis on management of head and neck pathology and maxillofacial trauma.

Dr Pfohl performs a full scope of oral surgery with particular interest in dental extractions and implant surgery, outpatient anesthesia, and management of oral pathology and maxillofacial trauma. In addition to his private practice, he is on staff at Mercy Hospital of Iowa City. He also serves as an Associate within the Department of Hospital Dentistry at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and enjoys call and Resident teaching responsibilities. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Additionally he is a member of the Iowa Dental Association and has served as past president of the Johnson County Dental Society.
