Ophthalmology
Chris Watts did his undergraduate work and played basketball at college in the state of Montana. He attended medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, graduating in 2009. While completing his residency in eye surgery at the University of Iowa, he met his wife Dacia – an Iowa native – and joined Eye Physicians and Surgeons shortly after leaving the University of Iowa in 2012. He became a partner in the practice in 2014 and has helped lead the recent growth of Eye Physicians and Surgeons into an area leader in eye care and surgery. He is proud of the addition of the Mt. Pleasant location in 2017, as well as bringing in many new doctors and services to the region. With his wife, he enjoys spending time with his family and their three children – Anelise, Luke, and Sam – on their farm in Solon.
