Dr. Timothy S. Albright

Dr. Albright is proud to have grown up in Urbandale, Iowa. He attended the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then came to the University of Iowa to complete his dental education in 2016. While in dental school, he found his passion for oral and maxillofacial surgery. He completed his surgical training at the University of Illinois at Chicago in June of 2020. His training in Chicago heavily emphasized dentoalveolar surgery in the outpatient setting under local and IV sedation, as well as corrective jaw surgery, trauma, and benign and malignant pathology. 

 

Dr. Albright enjoys interacting with and treating patients of all ages. He loves the complexity and challenges of treatment planning. He is particularly interested in dental extractions, bone and soft tissue grafting, dental implants, in-office IV anesthesia, and jaw surgery. He is also on staff at Mercy Hospital of Iowa City. He is a member of the Iowa Dental Association, American Dental Association, and American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. 

In his spare time, he enjoys using the many trails around Iowa City and Lake Macbride.
