Ophthalmology
A native Iowan, is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He took his ophthalmology residency at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. He completed his vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the University of Iowa and later earned an M.B.A. from the University of Iowa. Dr. Heilskov cofounded Iowa Retina Consultants along with Dr. Blodi in 1992.
